Beadwork is my form of basket-weaving - it keeps me sane. I've been beading for about ten years, doing mostly off-loom weaving (square stitch) and stringing. Lately I've been learning new techniques such as spiral stitch and right angle weave. I can't do peyote stitch in any form to save my life.I've captioned each photo with the stitch and materials used. I've learned a lot from the wonderful members of the rec.crafts.beads newsgroup, and you can see some of their work at the Eclectic Beadery website. Not only have I learned all sorts of beading techniques from them, they've also taught me a lot about life, love, giving and caring. And PEEPS. I'm still learning and still growing.
